WeBuyCars hosting weekend-long Black Friday auction – Starting at R1,000 a car

WeBuyCars (WBC) is hosting a weekend of auctions for this year’s Black Friday with hundreds of cars available.

These vehicles will be sold in several batches over three days, with the bids starting at R1,000 for each model on offer.

At the time of writing, Friday will see 147 cars being auctioned, Saturday, 526, and Sunday, only five are currently listed as upcoming.

The vehicles are sold in two categories, A or B.

Category A vehicles, according to WBC, are typically in good working order, have a lower risk profile, can be bought with a warranty, and can either be paid for using cash or finance.

Category B vehicles, on the other hand, are usually older and in less ideal conditions than category A, they are sold without any after-sales agreements, and they cannot be paid for using bank financing.

When shopping at WBC, it’s also advised to always have an in-depth look at the Dekra condition report that accompanies most vehicles the dealer sells. This shows you in what condition the car is and those that are in particularly good shape will also receive a “Roadworthy Voucher”.
