Every upgrade pack you can install on the new Ford Ranger Super Cab – and what it costs

There are no less than seven upgrade packages available on the new range of Ford Ranger Super Cabs in South Africa.

The blue oval recently added the single and super cab derivatives to its 4×4 series, having launched the double cab units at the end of last year, meaning there are now no less than 24 models to choose from.

Six of these slots are taken by the super cabs, which are available in three trim levels, including the range-topping Wildtrak spec which was previously reserved for the double cabs only.

The local pricing for the Ford Ranger super cabs is as follows:

• Ford Ranger 2.0 SiT XL 4×4 6AT – R542,900

The single-turbo diesel units produce 125kW and 405Nm, while the bi-turbos generate 154kW and 500Nm, and fuel consumption falls in the range of 6.9l/100km to 7.5l/100km on a combined consumption depending on whether the manual or automatic transmission is chosen.
