Every Audi on sale in South Africa right now – And which ones are due for an update

Audi has an extensive collection of vehicles in South Africa, but some of these are more up to date than others.

Two models have not received attention since 2019, while another eight were last refurbished in 2020.

Eight and four units were touched up in 2021 and 2022, respectively, and only two models received major updates in 2023.

The four rings has a more conservative release schedule relative to its German rivals BMW and Mercedes-Benz, which has the appreciable advantage that many of its sedans, hatchbacks, and SUVs are relevant to an audience for extended periods.

2024 Audi A3 coming to South Africa in the third quarter of this year.

That’s not to say there aren’t any major new additions or facelifts coming this year, as the revised A3 and Q7 are expected to touch down in South Africa before the end of 2024.

However, many of the other recent launches in the Audi family have been special-edition units of existing products, rather than updates to the series as a whole, such as the limited-edition RS6 GT or the Black and Urban Editions for cars such as the A4 and Q3.

The two oldest units in the current stable include the A1 and A7, which were introduced in 2019 and are a great choice for the brand to revisit in the near future.

Keeping up-to-date

Below is a list of every Audi vehicle in South Africa, including the last time the vehicle was updated.

This does not include the introduction of additional models on the same platform, such as any of the Black Edition units added past the initial launch of their respective series.
