My all-time favourite car front ends

There are a lot of pretty cars out there, but every now and again one comes along that is simply gorgeous.

The Tipo, the DBS, the Stingray – throughout the years every manufacturer has had one model which stood out just a bit more than the rest – as they blend angles, lines, and proportions in a magical way.

The powerful and emotional designs can be recognised immediately, and they create cult followings that lasts for decades.

Some even break the mold of their ancestors, and inspire a whole new generation of design.

Form follows function in the world of exceptional coachbuilding, too, and there is rarely a panel that is not there for a purpose. This makes a well-designed car that much more impressive.

It performs its job incredibly well, while looking spectacular in the process – what more could you want?

Not everyone will understand this obsession with cars – or their designs – but these models were not made for them.

They were built for the enthusiast, the driver, and the collector – and for fans to stare at them for the next 100 years.
