The Toyota Urban Cruiser was once again the best-selling crossover in South Africa this July, selling more than 1,800 units.
It was also the best-selling car overall, beating out last month’s top performer, the Suzuki Swift.
Second place went to the Renault Kiger, the most affordable crossover from the French automaker, and in third place is VW with the ever-popular T-Cross that fetched just over 1,000 units.

For Hyundai, the Venue proved to be the most popular choice from the manufacturer and its latest vehicle – the new Creta – also managed to make it into the top 15 in its first month of sales.

Other well-liked vehicles to make a return to the top-sellers list then include the Ford EcoSport, Haval Jolion, Nissan Magnite, and Mahinda XUV300.
The new Kia Sonet, which went on sale on 11 July, did well in its first month as well as being the eighth most popular crossover for South African motorists.
Suzuki continues to be a popular choice as well, offering a choice of either the Vitara Brezza or its mini off-roader in the Jimny.
