Petrol consumption of every Lamborghini on the South African market right now

Efficient and supercar may very well be polar opposites. If you want 747kW under your right foot, you better be ready to pay for it, especially at the pumps.
This remains true when looking at the offerings of one of the most prolific supercar manufacturers on the market right now, Lamborghini, whose most efficient product you can currently purchase being, surprisingly, the one with the biggest engine – the new Revuelto.
Thanks to its hybrid architecture, the V12-powered Revuelto consumes an average of just 10.3 litres of petrol for every 100km driven while generating a mountain-shifting 747kW out of its 6.5-litre, naturally-aspired powertrain that is assisted by three electric motors.
That’s not all; should you run out of petrol completely, the pinnacle Lamborghini still has 16km of all-electric driving range on tap owing to its 3.8kWh battery pack.
After the Revuelto, the Huracan takes second place as the most economical Raging Bull on average.
Now there are five Huracan nameplates available with differing designs and specs, but they are all motivated by the same driveline consisting of a 5.2-litre, naturally-aspired, V10 block that generates a minimum of 449kW up to 470kW.
Depending on the chosen model, the “baby Lamborghini” sips petrol at a rate of 13.8-14.9l/100km, putting it among the thirstiest of gas guzzlers on the new-car market regardless of size, shape, or brand.
Despite having the smallest engine in the Italian marque’s stable, the Urus is the most eager of the lot when it comes to emptying its tank – a likely consequence of its heftier and less aerodynamic body style.
With its 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged, V8 powerplant that pushes out 490kW, the SUV consumes at least 14.1 litres of petrol at every 100km interval.
However, as with normal commuters, you don’t even have to drive any of these supercars to know they will probably burn through more than their manufacturer claims under the heel of the average owner.
With big power comes big petrol consumption
Although there are many variations of Lamborgini supercars that share the same foundations, they are all unique in their own right and therefore return slightly differing consumptions and power levels.
