New Range Rover Sport coming to South Africa – Pricing revealed

Land Rover has unveiled the new Range Rover Sport SV Black Edition with a monochrome finish that highlights the SUV’s commanding presence.

Along with the new aesthetic, the Sport SV Black Edition provides excellent performance with an exclusive 467kW, 750Nm 4.4-litre Twin Turbo MHEV V8 petrol engine.

The Sport SV Black Edition will be available to order in late 2025, priced from R3,671,500.

Features

The Sport SV Black Edition’s design makes the SUV appear as though “dipped in black” with a custom finish tailored to create a luxurious, stealthy profile.

This includes a Narvik Black body and full Narvik Gloss Black Exterior Pack with a full monochrome finish, black-painted carbon fibre bonnet and Gloss Black Forged 23-inch alloy wheels.

Complementing this are Gloss Black brake callipers, Gloss Black quad exhausts, and a new black ceramic SV roundel on the tailgate.

In terms of the interior, the Sport SV Black Edition continues the all-black theme with sculpted performance seats finished in tactile Ebony Windsor leather.

Gloss Grand Black Finishers round out the interior look with a mixture of sporting and luxury features.

New SV Black illuminated treadpoles also contrast this striking design whenever the door is opened.

Engine

The Sport SV Black Edition is powered exclusively by a 467kW, 750Nm 4.4litre Twin Turbo MHEV V8 petrol engine.

This provides acceleration speeds of 0-100km/h in only 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 290km/h.

Ranger Rover is also introducing a specially tuned version of the Range Rover Sport SV globally, with 6D Dynamics technology and a 467kW Twin Turbo V8 mild-hybrid powertrain, offering top speeds of 266km/h.
