Stellantis, the world’s third-largest automaker by revenue in 2023, has officially launched its Eurorepar spare parts business in South Africa.
Eurorepar focuses on catering to Stellantis brands, which comprise:
However, the approved Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts are also available for other makes of vehicles.
Owners whose cars have surpassed the initial warranty and service plan period will now have a “comprehensive range of high-quality, cost-effective parts and services” to choose from provided by the OEM.
Eurorepar stocks approximately 13,500 service and replacement parts – such as filters, brake pads, glow plugs, spark plugs, water pumps, oils, and batteries – and is available across all 39 Stellantis dealers in South Africa.
Should a specific component not be available, the company can source an alternative for all vehicles outside their initial warranty and service plans “for at least half the price of the genuine OEM parts,” said Stellantis South Africa General Manager of After Sales, Russel Dewee.
All Eurorepar parts are “competitively priced” and backed by a two-year warranty.
A critical need
Price and availability of spare parts have the greatest impact on the cost of ownership once a vehicle’s warranty and maintenance/service plan expires.
These factors combined potentially force motorists to seek more cost-effective solutions – invariably away from the OEM-approved options.
Eurorepar therefore saw a “critical need” in South Africa to support owners of Stellantis vehicles who were no longer protected by their original after-sales agreements.
“By providing tailored support for these vehicles, backed by a reputation for reliability and excellence reflective of its association with Stellantis, Eurorepar South Africa is empowering customers with the confidence to maintain and repair their vehicles with OEM-quality, performance-focused aftermarket parts,” said Dewee.
“Eurorepar offers a robust selection of high-quality parts and services designed to meet the needs of a diverse clientele. This extends beyond Stellantis’ vehicles, ensuring that independent workshops can confidently service and repair various car makes with the support of the Eurorepar program.”
