Johannesburg will host a large classic car auction on 5 December, which will allow car buyers to pick from over 140 vehicles.
The cars on auction, which is being run by Creative Rides and High Street Auctions, are part of the late Louis Coetzer’s “world-class collection”.
“It includes a number of extraordinary American 1950s and 60s classics, as well as spectacular muscle cars and a selection of rare models from one of the largest private international Mercedes-Benz collections,” said the auctioneers.
The range of cars on offer can be viewed online, while public viewing will take place daily from 8.30 to 17:00 until 4 December – they day before the auction.
Interest in the collection has already peaked locally and internationally, said the auctioneers, with bidders pre-registering from every province in South Africa
“A myriad international bidders from North America, South America, Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and other countries in Africa will be participating in the sale,” they added.
