The Lexus LC 500 Convertible has been made available in South Africa for the first time, being sold in a single trim.
It sports a V8 engine and a host of premium features, and has a South African starting price of R2,345,000.

The Lexus LC 500 Convertible offers a vast array of equipment as standard, most notably a four-layer cloth roof that can be raised and lowered in 15 seconds at speeds of up to 50km/h.
This model further offers semi-aniline leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, automatic LED headlights with high-beam assist, rain-sensing wipers, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry and start, neck heaters, a heated steering wheel, and electrically-adjustable, heated, and ventilated front seats.
In addition, it’s fitted with the latest Lexus infotainment system – which comprises an 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, and a 10.3-inch infotainment display with voice control, integrated navigation, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.

Standard driver assistance programmes include lane keep assist, a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and a reverse camera.
