
Kia revealed their new logo and company slogan on 6 January 2021.
“The introduction of the new logo represents Kia’s ambitions to establish a leadership position in the future mobility industry by revamping nearly all facets of its business,” said Kia
Furthermore, Kia said the new logo represents the company’s commitment to rapidly shape and adapt to the changing automotive industry.
The launch event of the logo was a site to behold as 303 pyro-drones were launched above the skies of Incheon, Korea.
The drones fired hundreds of fireworks into the night sky to form the new Kia logo, at the same time setting a Guinness World Record for “Most unmanned aerial vehicles launching fireworks simultaneously”.
Along with the new logo, Kia also announced its new brand slogan: “Movement that inspires”
The launch of the new logo and slogan follows the announcement of Kia’s “Plan S” – which focuses on “popularising electric vehicles and introducing a broad range of mobility services, tailored to meet the needs and tastes of individuals and local markets”.
Details on Kia’s future strategy will be shared through the “New Kia Brand Showcase” event to be held on 15 January.
