Mazda South Africa has added a new model to their CX-5 range – the Mazda CX-5 2.0L Carbon Edition FWD.
This new model aims to serve as an alternative to the rest of the 2.0L range by offering an exclusive and sporty look both on the interior and exterior, said Mazda.
The Carbon Edition, as with the rest of the 2.0L range, comes standard with the 2.0L SKYACTIV-G engine that produces 121kW and 213Nm of torque, and will be available exclusively with an automatic transmission.
The specification on this new model is based on the current 2.0L Individual Auto FWD, which it will be replacing in the CX-5 lineup upon release.
Exterior changes to the Carbon Edition come in the form of glossy black exterior mirrors and 19-inch black metallic alloy wheels.
The interior sees the addition of black film on the dashboard and door panels; red highlight stitching on the steering wheel, gear lever, knee pads, and seats; and a leather and suede combination seat trim also with red stitching.
A choice of six colours will be available when ordering the Carbon Edition, these being – snowflake white pearl, sonic silver, machine grey, soul red crystal, polymetal grey, and jet black.
The rest of the Mazda CX-5 range remains unchanged with the exception of the new Carbon Edition.
The complete model range, with their individual starting prices, is listed below.
- 2.0L Active FWD (Manual and Auto) – R455,500
