The Stellantis automotive group has published the updated pricing for several models currently on sale in South Africa, affecting five of the brands under its umbrella.
The five affected badges include Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Jeep, Opel, and Peugeot. Citroen, on the other hand, was unaffected by the hikes.
In total, 15 different models have had their costs updated, with the increases ranging from R5,000 up to R39,000, depending on the unit in question.
While Stellantis has not made any formal announcement regarding the increases, price adjustments are usually the result of various economic factors, including inflation, raw material costs, new model features, a model’s cycle life stage, profitability margins, and matching competitor prices.
