Toyota has updated their popular Corolla Quest line for the 2021 model year.
The line now offers “enhanced convenience”, while retaining a single engine option.
As part of the update, the range will be split between three specification levels – Plus, Prestige, and Exclusive.
What’s new
The previously unnamed entry-level trim has now been renamed as the Plus.
This specification aims to deliver more value than the model it is replacing by offering standard daytime running lights, power-adjustable mirrors (in body colour), air-conditioning, electric windows, a multifunction steering wheel, and an infotainment system with Bluetooth and USB inputs.
It also gets a matte black grille, and 15-inch steel wheels.
The Prestige model then gets the above-mentioned features, along with an upgraded touchscreen audio system, a reverse camera, cruise control, a leather steering wheel, two-tone leather/fabric seats, and 16-inch alloy wheels.
The Exclusive trim, as the most expensive model, includes all the bells and whistles along with a TFT-colour instrument cluster, full leather seats, rain-sensing wipers, and LED headlamps.
Also new for the 2021 model year is the standard inclusion of keyless entry and push-button start, and Toyota Connect functionalities across the range.
A 1.8-litre, naturally-aspirated engine is fitted to every model – which generates a healthy 103kW and 173Nm of torque.
The motor can be mated to either a 6-speed manual or “7-step” CVT transmission.
