Unveiled just two months ago, the South African pricing of the new Lamborghini Temerario has already been revealed.
The successor to the legendary Huracan, the Temerario retails from R7,525,000 in the domestic market before any options, according to our well-informed sources at Duoporta.
V8 Raging Bull
The new Temerario forgoes the naturally aspirated, 5.2-litre, V10 mill of its predecessor in favour of a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo, V8 setup meshing with three electric motors.
It is the third hybrid to join the prestigious Lamborghini crucible following in the footsteps of the V12 Revuelto and Urus SE Super SUV.
The electrified powertrain generates a monumental 677kW and 730Nm which is channeled to all four wheels courtesy of an eight-speed automatic shifter.
Heavy though it might be at a dry weight of 1,690kg, the supercar sprints to 100km/h in 2.7 seconds and caps out at a heady 343km/h.
At its highest, the Temerario also hits a staggering 10,000rpm. In comparison, a modern Porsche 911 revs closer to 7,000 to 8,000rpm, and the Gordon Murray T.50 supercar goes to 12,100rpm.
In keeping with the times, the new Lambo wears a retro-futuristic design with thin LED headlights atop hexagonal daytime running lights flanking the signature shark nose-shaped front end.
Slats on the low front spoiler connect to the hood, while fins along the side direct airflow to its flanks, and it sits on new 20- and 21-inch rims at the front and rear, respectively.
It is also around 25cm shorter overall than the Huracan which should lend it more manoeuvrability, while simultaneously offering more head- and legroom than its predecessor.
According to Lamborghini, the Temerario allows space for a 1.98m driver wearing a helmet, whereas the same driver without a helmet could barely fit in the Huracan.
The Temerario furthermore offers an abundance of luxuries.
A new 8.4-inch infotainment system is mounted atop the centre console and sandwiched by a large digital driver’s display and passenger interaction screen.
It comes with 18-way adjustable heated and ventilated seats as standard, a suite of connected applications, plus more than 400 color combinations.
While already available to order, the new V8 Raging Bull is only earmarked to reach South African roads in the first quarter of 2026.
