The cheapest used cars in South Africa with over 230kW

Nowadays, powerful cars are getting cheaper, and cheaper cars are getting more powerful.

Technologies such as hybrid and electric powertrains, advances in mechanical components such as turbochargers, and more efficient small displacement engines allow this to happen.

This can be seen in cars such as the Golf GTE, which accelerates from 0-100km/h in well under 7 seconds, while being fitted with a 1.4-litre internal combustion engine along with an electric motor.

Additionally, the used car market is full of powerful vehicles which provide sporty performance and do not always have an M, AMG, or RS badge on them.

With that in mind, we visited AutoTrader to see what was on offer when it comes to powerful cars.
