Maserati on the hunt for buyer for last new Quattroporte V8 in South Africa

Maserati South Africa has put out its feelers to find a buyer for the final Quattroporte Trofeo V8 in South Africa.
The unit in question is now exclusively available at the Maserati Bryanston branch in Johannesburg, Gauteng, and is priced at R4,950,000.
“Owning the last Quattroporte Trofeo in South Africa is more than acquiring a luxury saloon—it’s securing a piece of Maserati’s legendary V8 history,” said Donovan Eley, Dealer Principal at Maserati Bryanston.
“This is the final chapter of an era defined by raw power, Italian craftsmanship, and unparalleled performance. For the discerning collector, this is an unrepeatable opportunity to own a true automotive masterpiece.”
The original super saloon
This particular variant of the Quattroporte boasts a brutish 3.8-litre, twin-turbo, V8 petrol block that is good for a generous 433kW and 730Nm.
The powerplant is matched with an eight-speed automatic box which directs grunt to the rear axle – which features a self-locking differential – for a purist driving experience.
The 100km/h landmark is attained in as little as 4.5 seconds in the four-door Italian beast and top speed is listed at an impressive 326km/h.
The final example of the Quattroporte Trofeo in South Africa has aptly been specced with the desirable Nerissimo Edition package.
This adds deep black exterior paint as well as signature details such as carbon fibre accents, red Trofeo trims, and 21-inch diamond-cut wheels that strike a balance between aggression and refinement.
This is complemented by contrasting Black Chrome trim on the upper grille frame, Trident emblem, side air vents, boot, and Maserati badging on the C-pillars.
Completing the look, the grille bars, door handles, exhaust tips, and window trim feature an exclusive black finish, too.
Inside, full-grain Pieno Fiore natural leather with red stitching and high-gloss carbon fibre elements elevate the passenger experience.
