Mahindra South Africa has brought back its CareFest for 2023, promising massive discounts on service parts and free safety inspections at all its dealerships.
The event, now rebranded as M-Care CareFest, was started in 2021 on a global level by Mahindra’s technical support team in India with the intention of rewarding loyal customers and thanking them for their patronage, said the company.
M-Care CareFest 2023
In South Africa, CareFest 2023 will run for the whole of February at Mahindra dealerships across the country.
The dealers are supplied by Mahindra’s head office and will receive additional support and training to offer the best services and vehicle inspections possible, said the manufacturer.
Mahindra owners are encouraged to drop by their local dealer where they will be able to enjoy refreshments while a technical team performs a complementary 30-point checkup of various safety, mechanical, and wear-and-tear items.
Additionally, the programme is now offering a 20% discount on all service parts for vehicles brought in for checkups during the month of February.
Motorists can book the free inspection either by contacting their local dealership or by using the Mzanzi Mahindra App found on the Google Play Store for Android devices and Apple App Store for Apple devices.
Mahindra South Africa has also introduced a dedicated, AI-enabled call centre with support for WhatsApp, and customers can contact the company’s head office using the contact number 012 661 3161 and following the prompts to receive further information, speak to a Mahindra specialist, and register for the M-Care activities.
Mahindra in South Africa
Mahindra’s customer base has increased significantly since the last Fest, the automaker becoming the fastest-growing automotive brand in South Africa in 2022 with an average sales figure of more than 1,000 vehicles per month.
The carmaker recorded an impressive 78% increase in sales last year when compared to the previous one, with its Pik Up bakkie range, in particular, proving to be a big hit with local consumers.
The recently-launched XUV700 SUV also saw a lot of interest from South African motorists, as more than 1,100 pre-orders were logged during its initial launch period.
In February, the brand is launching the new Scorpio-N, a more rugged SUV built upon the same chassis as the Pik Up.
