August was a busy month for vehicle launches in South Africa, with over 20 events taking place.
New SUVs were a popular feature during the month and we also saw the unveilings of a wide variety of sports cars and supercars.
A possible reason for this is that August saw the return of the world’s most prestigious car shows and auctions, where carmakers have historically enjoyed flexing what they are capable of.
This year was no different, with Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, and Lamborghini unveiling new models.
Additional notable events for August included the South African launch of the Lexus LC 500 Convertible and Hyundai Palisade, the unveiling of a new Nissan Z car, and the confirmation of at least seven fully-electric vehicles for local introduction in 2022.
